  • Write some words in capital case. For example, NEW
  • Focus on communicating the benefits of products or services rather than features! You can attach features literature or provide links etc.
  • While writing an introductory email for products, you can give quick benefits in the mail and below that you can insert the outline of the product.
  • When writing the follow-up email to hot clients, write something like this: Im doing inventory planning for the next month, can you update me on the pending decision?
  • If you are using Outlook Express you can use very powerful feature of Read Receipt. In a New Message window, go to Tools and check the option Request Read Receipt. When the reader reads the message they will be prompted that sender has requested the receipt of this mail. By doing this you will save the valuable time of the reader and will also get the acknowledgement of the mail!         
  • For developing marketing collateral like White Papers, Case Studies, Brochures, etc. you need specialized skill sets for which I recommend getting the help of specialists.
  • Avoid words like no, not, impossible, etc. in any marketing documents.
  • In any communication its very important to receive feedback. In the case of marketing writing, you can get feedback on the documents from prospects reply mails or phone calls.
  • In email or mailer try using P.S. This is a very powerful way to ask for action! For example, P.S. Call +91 ------ ----- NOW for arranging demo!                
  • Then you are right, go ahead and review your Sales Collateral with above tips.
