How to use turn on Window’s Auto-hide

To do this, turn on Auto-hide.

Use the auto-hide feature in Windows to hide the taskbar at the bottom of your screen. This means that when you take the screenshot, it will not show any applications that are currently open on your computer.

1. Right-click on the Start button.

2. Select Properties, Taskbar tab, and turn off Auto-hide the taskbar.

Instead of wasting time cropping the screenshots in Paint or Snagit, you can turn on auto-hide instead, which automatically hide the toolbars.

It also gives you a larger area to capture and is very useful if you have a small monitor or use a laptop to take the screenshot.
